It’s times like this I’m glad I don’t have children.
Can you imagine having something you love and want to protect pulling on your shirt tale yelling, “Daddy! Daddy! I wanta see this! I wanta see this! 3D! 3D!”
It’s promotions like this that make me stand in awe of the LucasFilm Marketing Machine. Back in the day, it was never unusual to see CLASSIC MOVIES hit theaters again. Before the advent of various forms of VOD, Blu Rays, DVDs, VHS tapes or even Pay Cable Networks like HBO… How else could you ever hope to see any film again– unless you were willing to watch them presented on “Free TV”, haphazardly chopped up by television commercials?
But figuring out every angle they possibly can to make certain they pick our pockets on the re-release of a BAD movie?
That’s just pure genius.
