New Batman Movie will probably be good. Nolan has a interestingly clean record for decent films. Still managing to give the mainstream a decent run for it’s money…

  2. M. Fewko says:

Adult Swim threw me off guard tonight, what with this big change in the anime line up. A nice change too, I can only watch Cowboy Bebop so many…. well…. I guess that one I could watch forever >< but a break is nice and for the sake of Gundam!

This is awesome on so many levels.

    • That’s freaking awesome!

    • Thought the Mass Effect pepole would enjoy this too.

      • megamanx4ever says:

        SPOILERS

I found this video that explains the Indoctrination theory in the best way possible in my opinion and I found it very interesting to watch because there WAS a lot of evidence that the guy pointed out in this video.

        • J. says:

I watched this last week. It’s a very interesting theory (also one I agree with) and hope it is what BioWare actually had in mind for the ending…but they are nowhere near smart enough to have planned it this way.

It’s just way to “artsy” and intelligent for most gamers today to understand. These would be the same gamers who fucking hate Metal Gear Solid 2 because they didn’t “get” it.

          • I agree with Jose. It would be amazing if that were true, but there are even holes in the evidence given the video. And that is too high concept of a ending for a fairly low concept game. I mean, they want this to be the next Star Wars franchise. That means it has to have the potential to draw in anyone. High concept doesn’t do that. It’ll be interesting to see what “The Truth” DLC entails, but I think something else is going on or it was, as I believe, just very poorly written through the whole game that they didn’t give the players all the needed info to get what was going on.

          • megamanx4ever says:

I fucking loved Metal Gear Solid 2 but I will be honest the plot was really hard to follow during the endgame where it really started to fuck with your mind and I honestly had to play through it a second time to fully understand everything. That being said I still loved the story of MGS2 and I thought Raiden was an excellent character even though I do personally like Solid Snake and Big Boss more but that is just my opinion. In regards to Bioware actually have planing the Indoctrination theory I’m not sure if they did but I am just hoping for a Fallout3: Broken Steel style expansion which gives you a better ending AND while it did cost 10 dollars it DID additional things to the game i.e. new weapons, armor, enemies, an improved level cap, and a main quest that lasted about 6-8 hours.

I have this list of anime that has been recommended to me on this site, and I keep knocking them off one by one. Right now, I’m starting Perfect Blue, I’m excited to see what it’s like, I know nothing about it, except that I should watch it.

  11. kurumais says:

liam neeson’s improv bit on life is short was amazingly hilarious
and once again karl proves himself the most fascinating man in the world when he meets warick davis
ricky gervais is a genius the guy sells tv shows about what fascinates and amuses him

  12. NicktheStick says:

BAH… need a break from writing my essay. Man I hate essays. I don’t mind writing or researching things, as long as it is something interesting to me. My essay is for my drama class and I love plays and such, but I am just not in the mood to write about The Glass Menagerie anymore. So in the meantime I try to find things to distract me for a little bit so I can go back strong and finish this essay off.

      • NicktheStick says:

Wow that was awesome! It makes me want to buy thins game. The only problem being, is that I would have no one to play it with if I actually went out and purchased it.

        • Yeah, I have the same problem. Hell I would be running a D&D or White Wolf campaign if I had even one person to play with.

BUt I really like everything that Geek & Sundry is bringing out, especially Tabletop. I think I might just have to do a column on them.

  13. J. says:

I’m watching one of Jackie Chan’s newest films on Netflix. It’s called “1911″ and about the revolution against the Qing Dynasty. I am aware that Jackie’s newer films are almost all about story and have little if any action in them. But fuck…this thing is boring me to tears. The only reason I want to finish it is out of respect for the man…and so I can continue to say I’ve seen every Chinese Jackie Chan film. There are a few of his American movies that I refuse to watch.
