I haven’t watched this yet (I will once life stops kicking me in the ass every 30 seconds). I just have a quick question: are you guys going to Spring Con on Saturday or Sunday or both? Thanks!

“I will once life stops kicking me in the ass every 30 seconds.”

FYI. That doesn’t stop. Ever. ;)

:) Well… true, but lately it’s been hectic with all these assignments and projects to do before I graduate (only 7 more days of high school left!!!). And my buddy who I’m working with on a film project thought it would be ok to suggest that we film on Saturday (Spring-Con day) because that will work out better than Sunday (which he said would be fine yesterday). I hate situations like these… I can’t focus on anything right now because the situation is too problematic… plz pray/send good vibes towards us.

      • -Jon (of aCBL) says:

        Agreed!

    • tomstewdevine says:

We will be there both days, hit us up at our acomicbooklook@gmail.com address with your contact info and I will give you a call on Saturday.

Hey guys and gals, thanks for watching again. This week we talk to Aaron Thomas Nelson the Co-Creator of a graphic novel that just came out in March. The book is called Marlow and you can check it out here:

We ran into a major glitch while trying to record video from Skype, and at the last minute had to just point our second camera at the screen, I do apologize for the crudeness off the video at points. Thanks for hanging in there, I promise we will get it worked out by our next creator interview.

  3. Locusmortis says:

I checked Marlow on Amazon.co.uk and there was 1 left in stock, so I ordered it. I did google some internal art while listening to the interview and it looked pretty good, sort of a cross between Josh Howards “Dead@17″ work, Drew Hayes “Poison Elves” work and the females had a sort of Enrique Romero “Modesty Blaise” look.

    • -Jon (of aCBL) says:

That’s awesome that you ordered it! You will have to let us know what you think about it. Good work.

  4. NicktheStick says:

Really cool show guys! Definitely makes me want to check out this book when I can get around to it. Also, just have to say it was pretty funny at the end. Tom you had quite the shocked look on your face when Jon just said “we’ll see you next week.”

Anyways, really fun and great show.

    • -Jon (of aCBL) says:

:) you know we like to keep you on your toes. No, I was actually running on empty during the interview because I’ve been working a lot and it is starting to catch up with me. There was a comment made above about life kicking you in the ass every 30 seconds – I wish life would give me a cup of coffee every 30 seconds instead :) .

  5. Aaron says:

Thanks guys! I had a blast. We should do a drunk dial show.

  6. ed2962 says:

Cool and informative! I hope you guys do more interviews with creators soon!
