If things get any more exciting than this, I’ll need a fresh pair of Spidey Underoos by the end of the day.
Let it be clear here and now: I like all the movies Marvel Studios has made. Every single one of them. Some more than others, of course… But that’s normal.
What’s not normal: That Disney/Marvel, riding high on the success juggernaut called The Avengers (which became the THIRD! HIGHEST! GROSSING! MOVIE! EVER! yesterday) would bother to promote the following new Superhero Film Sequel Logos! during a presentation at Ciné 2012 in Northern Italy.
I’ll freely admit to barely knowing the difference between Photoshop and a Soft-Serv Ice Cream Cone, but whoever got paid to create these– or, more accurately, which Studio Suit forced whichever highly creative graphics designer to toe the massively boring company line– got paid way too much to be so uncreative.
For those happy to punish themselves with more mediocrity– you can find close-up, stand alone cards for each title (except Iron Man 3) after the jump. And since BadTaste.it was also kind enough to include a pic of Disney’s latest movie release timeline too, I’ve added that to the gallery for good measure. (Ohmygod! Pixar is actually going to release the Cars spin-off Planes as a real theatrical movie!)

wow those are amazing i cant believe someone actually figured out how to put numbers after the names of super heroes
The only thing that l think would be more thrilling, would be 2 see some1 w/ a more “Airplane” state of mind, 2 come up w/ HULK Two + One
I am still astonished they aren’t acting like they’re making another Hulk movie. Mark Ruffalo is certainly more than capable. Maybe they’re looking at the Hulk as a trained dog– good for action and some comic relief.
I’m pretty sure I heard rumors that due to people’s liking of the Hulk in the Avengers movie that there would be another Hulk movie. I would really like to see another Hulk movie. Hopefully with the Leader as the villain. That would be awesome.
Wow. Someone must’ve worked really hard adding a single number in the same font as the original movie logos..
I’m just blown away…
Awwww. I was kinda hoping Marvel would name their sequels something like Captain America: Back 2 Da Past or Iron Man: 3xtr3mis.
I like Iron Man 3xtr3mis. I would be surprised if they don’t use that.
What about Captain America: Death 2 Soon?
