After seeing the first trailer for Total Recall, I was really worried it wouldn’t feature the original’s 3-bewbed prostitute.

This second trailer puts those worries to rest, however… And solidifies that we are indeed getting a remake of the Paul Verhoeven version of Total Recall– instead of getting a true adaptation of the Philip K. Dick short story… Because, you know, adapting a written story is just way too fucking difficult and time-consuming.

Seriously, why would a movie studio want any talented screenwriter to do that– when they can just copy the existing film adaptation (sometimes shot for shot)? The clueless masses will no doubt line up and pay to see some stale, rehashed movie with prettier special effects… Just one more thing we can thank George “Han Did Not Shoot First” Lucas for.
