I don’t know about you, but I pity anyone attempting to keep a chronological comic book collection right now.

I hate marvel, So when this starts does Dark Avengers end?

  2. I love the Punisher. I love the Punisher soooo much. WHY IS HE IN A TEAM BOOK!?

    • tomstewdevine says:

The discipline of Deadpool attracted him.

      • Insideman says:

I’m assuming it’s some kind of “trade off” for Frank… He gets his “freedom” if he agrees to go on missions, etc.

In other words, the same shit reason Frank agrees to do virtually anything with other superheroes.

  3. Locusmortis says:

I pity anyone reading a Daniel Way comic, that Wolverine Origins thing he did a few years ago was fucking horrible.

    • Insideman says:

LM, I didn’t mind the comic as much… Except for knowing– no matter how much I may have enjoyed a story– no one else at Marvel was going to treat it as the definitive Wolverine backstory.

Defeated the whole creative purpose for the book… If there ever was one.

      • Locusmortis says:

Its my opinion that Wolverine should have as minimal a backstory as is possible, part of what made him interesting was that he was an enigma. Barry Windsor-Smiths Weapon X series was ok but just about everything since then has been to the detriment of the character, in particular Paul Jenkins Origin series which was probably the worst thing ever inflicted on the character.

  4. Denouette says:

Ugh, what complete shit. CBR will love it!

  5. J. says:

But the team is being lead by General “Thunderbolt” Ross. Get it?

You know that was the pitch for this comic.

    • kurumais says:

      i missed that good catch

but im still baffled by this book and a few of its members much like the new jla

  6. TheMSpot says:

Talk about seeing red, and making me want to puke. ;)

  7. To quote Tim Gunn:

“It’s like an homage to a menstrual cycle.”
