Honestly sick of hearing about Garth Brooks at this stage 😛

It has been a long time since I’ve gotten excited about anything coming out of DC but, damn, the new creative team on Batgirl has peaked my interest. I’m really digging the new character design. It seems so non-New 52.

I’m excited for the new Batgirl changes too. Simply for the change of pace. I have a lot of respect for Gail Simone, but her run on New 52 Batgirl was bad. It just seemed like she was trying way too hard to make a grim and gritty story and because of that the “dark” story felt overdone. Some of the dialogue tried so hard to be “edgy” and “grim” but it just came off as ridiculous. I couldn’t make it past issue #3.

If these new Batgirl changes result in anything like the Stephanie Brown Batgirl series I will be a happy camper.

I’ve been saying this a lot, but if they keep adding characters to ‘Batman v. Superman’ they’re going to need to make it a 5 hour movie just to get to everyone.

And I don’t want to sit through a 5 hour Zack Snyder film 🙂
